My Jewellery was founded in the summer of 2011, driven by a strong passion for jewellery and the ambition to build a brand that inspires people to celebrate life and turn everyday moments into something meaningful. What started as an entrepreneurial idea from our founder, Sharon Hilgers, has grown into an international jewellery-first fashion brand with a strong presence across Europe. From our first online store and boutique in ’s-Hertogenbosch to boutiques across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France, with Spain coming up next, we continue to grow while staying true to the mindset that shaped My Jewellery from the very beginning.
Every journey has a beginning, and ours started with creating jewellery. That’s where our love for thoughtful details first took shape. Over the years, we’ve built a distinctive brand inspired by Mediterranean summers, fresh flowers and, above all, meaningful moments shared with the people you love. Fifteen years later, that same spirit still shines through in everything we create.
There’s one simple thought at the heart of My Jewellery: “What are we celebrating today?” It reflects the way we look at the world: with optimism, energy and an appreciation for the moments, big and small, that make life special. Today, together with more than 1,000 dedicated colleagues, we’re building a brand that goes far beyond jewellery and fashion. We’re building an international community that inspires young, modern women. And while My Jewellery continues to evolve, our foundation remains unchanged: a passion for creating, an entrepreneurial mindset and the ambition to keep moving forward.

A story worth recognising
Over the years, our growth story has received recognition through several entrepreneurship awards, with founder Sharon Hilgers nominated for Sprout 25 under 25 and EY Entrepreneur of the Year. Our continued growth has also led to exciting collaborations, including a partnership with Vogue Netherlands. Most recently, My Jewellery was recognised by NL Groeit as the fastest-growing company led by a female CEO.
